Pet Transport / Pet Taxi
I offer a local pet transport service for dogs, cats, and other small animals — ideal for trips to the vet, groomers, daycare, or for supporting rescues and rehoming journeys. Every journey is handled with care, calm handling, and your pet’s comfort in mind.
You’ll have peace of mind knowing your pet is in capable hands. I am able to wait during appointments and stay in touch with updates along the way, so you’re always informed.
Please note that this service is offered within the confines of UK animal transport regulations. I can only transport animals:

For short, local journeys under 65km (approximately 40 miles)

For trips lasting under 8 hours

That are fit to travel, not unwell or severely stressed
I do not transport farm animals or horses, and I’m not licensed for long-distance or commercial animal transport. If you’re unsure whether your journey is eligible, I’m always happy to advise.
Whether it’s a quick vet run or a calm start to a new home, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they travel safely, comfortably, and without stress.
Pricing
I charge for pet transport based on travel time, wait time, and mileage.
£3.05 per 15 minutes
(This covers travel time, wait time — such as at the vet or groomer — and handling)
plus
£0.50 per mile
(Based on total round-trip mileage)
Example
A 45-minute trip to the vet, including travel and wait time, with a total travel distance of 10 miles
Calculation:
Time: £3.05 × 3 = £9.15
Distance: 10 miles × £0.50 = £5.00
Total Price = £14.15
